2.1 MacOS App

1. During the first authentication of the device, You may be presented with outgoing/ incoming network accept permission dialogs. Accept them. These connections are made to use the websocket in the local network and also to check for updates and license information during the initial launch.

   

2. macOS Notifications : Also at the same time, you might notice the very un-noticeable permission prompt from macOS for sending notifications. You can grant this later inside the app settings. But if you missed it, You still can go to macOS settings > Notifications and scroll down till you find AirSync and select it. Enable notifications and pick your preferred style. Now there’s a dedicated setting inside the app that will prompt you to enable notifications.

   

3. Continue the on-boarding flow of the app.
